We are proud to announce a new expansion planned for Bobcat Ballpark. This was announced in partnership with a leadoff gift from former baseball All-American and Texas State Heroes donor, Tyler Sibley.

  • An indoor hospitality lounge with deck overlooking left field
  • Increased number of stadium seating and field boxes

The new Ballpark Player Development Center will be the first privately funded renovation project to Bobcat Ballpark. We need to continue to enhance our facility to compete at the national level. This renovation project will allow us to offer our fans the best possible experience while at Bobcat Ballpark and give our student-athletes every advantage on the playing field!

The final design for the expansion of Bobcat Ballpark will be subject to approval by the Texas State University System Board of Regents.

Johnny and Nathali Weisman Football Complex

A few weeks ago, University President Kelly Damphousse, Director of Athletics Don Coryell and head football coach GJ Kinne were joined by supporters and dignitaries to kick off the $37 million facility renovation and addition to the Johnny and Nathali Weisman Football Complex. Project donors Johnny and Nathali Weisman, Bo and Darlene Trevillion, and others were able to join a crowd of 100 people for a celebration of this new chapter of Bobcat Football they helped make possible.

Groundbreaking

The renovations will include a new 8,000 square foot weight room, a new players lounge, new training room with hydrotherapy, individual position meeting rooms, upgraded conference rooms with additional offices, recruiting room and additional premium hospitality spaces for fans to enhance the gameday experience.

We want to thank all of our donors supporting the project and who have made this vision possible. The fundraising campaign to fully support the project is ongoing.
